P0336 ISUZU - the car is refusing to start and white smoke is coming out of the exhaust

my car is an isuzu dtec kb 300 it just lodt power and the engine light came on. when i tried to start it again it could not start and white smoke was coming from the exhaust . it also had a knocking sound in the engine

The code is for the crank position sensor, however the white smoke would not be caused by this. This will prevent the car from starting however. I would check the timing belt and the crank sensor.
