2005 Ford Explorer Limited 6 Cyl. with engine code P0506. Check engine light came on, said something about IAC motor. Where is the IAC motor?

Hi there,

The IAC motor is mounted to the throttle body. This is a round electric motor and sometimes the pintal gets stuck. When this happens you can clean it with carb cleaner and then re install it. Many times it will resolve the problem and you don't need to replace it.
