This code indicates an issue with the mass air flow sensor. This is the sensor mounted to the air cleaner box in the duct work to the throttle body. Many times the sensor itself is the problem, but the wiring can cause it as well. You can remove the sensor and check for a burn mark on it, if there is one, then you know it needs to be replaced.
