This code is generated under full acceleration from any speed and is accompanied by what seems to be the transmission trying to shift (hunting back and forth from 4 to 5) and not succeeding until pressure is removed from the throttle. This has happened for the past 60,000 Km. car has 183,000 Km, all recalls up to date, timing belt changed and all other fluid and filter changes to schedule. Does not seem to affect subsequent mileage (39 miles / us gal , 43 miles / imp gal, 6.3 L / 100 Km)? Dealership has been unable to suggest any correction.

Any ideas are appreciated.
