How can I fix the P1140 code on a Nissan sentra 2001 engine 1.8 .. When i start the car it begins to shake, after pushing the fuel pedal the shaking disapears.

P1140 = Intake Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 1

You can replace camshaft position sensor, also the oil could be dirty which is causing the camshaft position sensor to get clogged and not get a reading, you can also try to clean the camshaft position sensor with brake cleaner after you change the oil
