What causes P1795 Throttle Body position code on 03 Cadillac CTS?

Check Engine light came on and car lost power. Pulled over, shut car off, restarted and car ran ok. scan showed 3 codes. P1779, P1795 and P0700

If that repeat with an increasing frequency that means your throttle body must be replaced. Else check your wiring, may be a wire between the throttle body and the ECM is so weak and disconnect from time to an other, mostly with vibrations.
