My light came on and went off on its own due to a P0193 code. Would this cause my car to fail inspection?

I have a 2004 Taurus, the Check Engine light went off a couple days later on it's own.  Does a code going away on its own cause a car to be "not ready," for inspection?

Depends what you mean by inspection, if you mean taking the car to smog when they connect to the OBDII it will show up as pasted code. You can always erase it and if the problem is still there it will come back again.
