P1490 NISSAN - How do i fix it

Question

Car cuts off when coming to a stop, it has the 1490 code. Should I start of with a new harness.

This code is for a bad vacuum cut bypass valve. This will not make the car stall. Most of the time the issue is not the bypass valve, but the bypass valve solenoid. I have seen the bypass valve melt when the tailpipe comes off, so if you have lost the tailpipe from the muffler at some point, it could be the problem.
