2001 Ford Expedition with engine code P0171, how do I fix the code?

Hi there,

This code is for a lean condition on bank 1. This can be caused by a host of different things. Usually if its only one bank it's either an intake manifold gasket leaking or the front O2 sensor on bank 1.
