2007 Ford Expedition 5.4L with engine codes P0208 and P0308, how do I fix it?

P0208 Injector circuit malfunction cylinder 8

P0308 Cylinder misfire number 8 cylinder

A failed injector causing a misfire of the number 8 cylinder. The first is to check the that the injector is properly connected. Here is a misfire of the number 1 cylinder on a Ford that was caused by the injector harness popping out. where its locking tabs were broken causing P0201 (injector circuit malfunction #1) and a P0301.  The cost effective fix was to secure the injector harness

 If the fuel injector in question is properly secured the fix may just be a replacement injector
