2000 Ford V10, what does the P0720 code means? how to fix?

Hi there,

This code is for the oss (output shaft speed sensor). This is mounted externally on the transmission, in most cases the back of the transmission on the driver side. Depending on your actual model will depend on it's location. The sensor itself does sometimes fail and replacing it will resolve the code.
