no lights on dashboard

Question

The car cut out (stalled) and all lights went out on the dash except the warning light for the steering which came on and a warning in the combi display ( parking brake fault ), when I tried to start it againg there was no power at all when the key was depressed, this continued until all the lights came back on and the engine restarted but cut out again 5 mins later.
There is still power going to the interior lights, radio,windows but nothing to the dash.
The garage is stumped and I have just found out that there is a recall to replace all 4 injectors , has anyone else had this issue ?

Start by checking the battery terminals, and  clean and resecure the terminals if needed. Then check the battery charge and altenator.
