P0734 SATURN -

Question

i have a saturn sw2 and my check engine light came on and had it checked it came up P0734. i told i can fix it bye replacing the transmision control moduler (tcm) our is there any way else i can fix this problem without taking my car to a trany shop??????????

This code is for an incorrect gear ratio in 4th gear. This cold be caused by low or dirty transmission fluid, the TCM or an actual internal problem with the transmission.
