I have Chevrolet Evanda (previously Daewoo). It has OBDII connector, but can DIY readers read ABS or airbag fault codes?

Most of the OBDII code read cannot read ABS and Air Bag related codes. Only the factory and some very expensive code reader can read the ABS and Air Bag systems.
