Go thru fuel like crazy and last week felt like the truck was in limp mode.... what effect would not be changing the air to fuel sensor have

I have seen clogged Catalytic Converters causing an engine misfire, but I have not seen Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors causing an engine misfire. Your next step is to check for leaking fuel injectors.
