I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 having problems starting the car

Car will not start. How can you tell if it's the alternator or starter. I purchased a brand new battery.

Do the lights on the dash come ON when you turn the key? If no light comes ON, the problem is the battery or the main fuses. There is no power to the vehicle.

Does the engine crank? If the lights come ON, but the engine is not cranking you turn the key, then the problem is the starter, wires to the starter, or the ignition switch.

If the problem was the alternator or charging system, then the engine will crack slowly, or may start, and then die.
