Do I have a wiring problem on my ECU VW polo 1.2l EPC

Question

After buying parts and replacing them for my EPC light, I think I may have found the actual problem causing these codes to come up. When the car is running I press on the wires leading up to the ecu and when I press them the car judders and stops for a split second, then it process to show an EPC light. When I turn the car off the lights go and is alright to start. Would you say this is a wire harness issue?
