code is p0603 I have installed new batteries and truck still cuts out for about 3 seconds and then fires up again by iyself; I have only changed batteries but as per your info I should erase the code---- how do I erase the code?

Disconnecting the car battery for about 30 minutes should erase the code. If the code comes back you may have a problem with the ECM
