I took my car to the dealer because my service engine light came on and it was dragging switching gears and skipping. I got the P0710 service code and they said it just needed to be reset. Does this sound right?

This code is for the transmission temp sensor. It is possible it only needed a reset, however it is also possible at some point the trans temp got to hot. I agree with the reset and drive it. If it comes back then it will need to be properly diagnosed.

Thank you! The first morning I started the car and let it warm up I heard a continuos clicking noise, almost like a belt hitting something as it went around, once I drove the car it stopped and never happended again. Any idea what that could've been or if it was related to the fix?
