P0705 SUZUKI -forenza

Question

Engine light was on, checked codes and got p0700 and p0705. What do I need to do to fix this problem? If I continue to drive my vehicle will it cause longterm damage?

HI there

This code is for the transmission range sensor. You can continue to drive the car but eventually it probably won't start. The range sensor is under the shift linkage on the outside of the transmission.
