I'm not a mechanic, I just do basic mechanics to save money, I don't have much money to go to the shop , my question on my truck with code p0340 camshaft position sensor (CMP), I don't know the location of the camshaft position sensor on my truck, thank you for read , have a good day

Hi there

The cam sensor is part of the distributor on this engine. It can be replaced, but the distributor has to come out.
