The engine code is P1294 - what does this mean

I own a 2001 Dodge Intrepid and engine code is coming up as P1294. What does this mean?

This code means the target idle speed is not reached conditions.

This is usually  caused by something like a vacuum leak, possibly the throttle cable adjustment or the idle set screw. Normally it's a mechanical problem causing the idle speed to be wrong which in turn throws the code.
