Code P0340 still shows after replacing Camshaft position sensor twice. What could be wrong?

Car will not pass emissions. Code P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor. Sensor was replaced twice by a mechanic but still shows same code. What could be causing this?

This usually means either there is a mechanical issue with the engine or there is a wiring problem from the sensor to the ECM

Here is a list of other possible causes as well and make sure you did replace bank 1.
