Hi there,

This code points to a lean condition after the catalytic converter. Here is a list of possible causes.

That list all has possibilities of what I was thinking. However why would this code happen if I just swapped my cat out? It doesn’t make any sense.

It is possible the front O2 sensor is putting the wrong fuel mix in. It might have been all along but if the converter was bad the sensor may not see that. I would also disconnect the battery or clear the long term fuel trim to reset it and see if the code returns.
