I had code P0101, after the diagnostic, they told me to replace the MAF sensor and reprogram/update the PCM. I did replace twice the MAF sensor (2 different brands, the last one Hitachi from Rock Auto) I did replaced the air filter as well.

I didn't reprogram PCM because bulletin said if I have the light on and no issues I should do it. Since I don't have the light on anymore but the problem is there.

This is what I notice when weather it's hot (95-110 degrees) and I've been driving the car after an hour or so, when I am accelerating above 2K RPM (after a red light or if I'm on the highway) the car feels like I'm pressing the gas and releasing it intermittently, it is like cutting off the gas. This only happens when it is HOT

Any input or experience like this??
Thank you

Hi there

It's important to make sure you use a maf sensor from the dealer. The aftermarket sensors do not work well with these cars. Here is a list of possible causes for this code.
