Will a multiple miss fire cause a transmission sensor to light up

My transmission was rebuilt four months ago last week I changed my spark plus iridium tip ngk I did everything to the best of my knowledge a week later my check E comes on the lil car with wrench in the middle i take it to the trans guy and he plugs in the machine and it comes back as multiple misfire and a transmission sensor and he said that the misfire can cause the trans sensor to light up also I don’t believe him can somebody please confirm this thank you for you time

Typically this will not cause any transmission codes. You need to have the transmission control module scanned for codes so we can help.
