Can a P1217 code come on after car comes out of body shop?

2014 Nissan Maxima took a ladder in the front bumper area on the freeway. After radiator and other parts replaced, had check engine light on. Light turned off when engine was started right before we headed to Auto Zone. Had it tested and got the P1217 error code. Could it have been tripped do to the accident on the freeway and took sometime for the check engine light to clear after being taken out of the shop? Or should I take it in?

This indicates you probably have wiring issues to the radiator fans and will need to go back to the shop. Here is a list of other possible problems.
