I have a 2006 grand Prix. Getting this code P0741 after changing trans filter and fluid (no flush). The fluid was black and the coolant lines were leaking pretty bad. Replaced the lines as well. Shifting seems mostly ok... Driving for 2 hours in city City and highway there were 2 times where shifting from 1st to 2nd or perhaps 2nd to third either was hard or slid. That was it. Runs really well actually. Thinking a flush may fix all the problems, but don't want to cause more damage. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

It is possible flushing the transmission will solve this problem. However, you may have an issue with the torque converter clutch solenoid. Here is some info for you.
