The battery was changed and now service engine light is on. The only code it’s giving is P316A. What does that code mean for my car?

That’s the code that appeared.  I double checked.  The strange thing is the light went off all by itself.  p316a

Hi there,

I did a little more research for you. This code points to an issue with the engine coolant temp sensor. Make sure the car is full of coolant. If it is, then you may need to replace the coolant temp sensor.
