Relation to leaky coolant nipple on manifold blowing rear COP? (since re-built).

Question

1999 Ford Crown Vic, rebuilt 2 COPs at the back of the engine (passenger side) because of coolant leak at manifold nipple. Code shows occasionally since, especially after hard acceleration. Has the catalytic converter been damaged? #P0420.....thanks!
