I have a 2005 Ford Mustang 4:0 with a code P0715. The transmission sensor keeps burning out so it doesn't shift correctly. What could be causing the sensor failure and what can I do to fix this problem.

Hi there

I would check the wiring, specifically the wiring to ground. This could be bad and causing the issue to burn the sensor out. It's also possible there is a wiring problem at the pcm. Usualy when sensors burn out it's the result of a bad ground somewhere in the system.
