What does The code P0106 mean for a Kia Forte?

Question

I was told it can be my Catalytic Converter but not sure which one to get.
My engine light is on
My car does not want to start was told my alternator has gone bad
I need help, my car is my only means of transportation and I'm lost without it.

I have a kia Forte 2010 Sedan 2.2 engine

is the catalytic converter and alternator what I should be fixing or is there more?

Hi there

This code is for the manifold absolute pressure sensor or map sensor. This would not prevent the car from starting, however it would cause poor running once the engine was running.
