I have a 2001 Dodge dakota sport 4x4 and the engine light came on with code P1055. any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Hi there

This code stands for the idle rpm being to low. Most of the time this would be the result of a sticking IAC valve. This is mounted to the back of the throttle body and in most cases you can remove it and clean it up with some carb cleaner. Then reinstall it and it should resolve the issue.
