I have a 2008 GMC Acadia code P0700 with P0752. Car hold on 3rd Gear, when light came on then I switch off for 3 min will goes fine. Had it serviced drove fine for 50 miles then light came back on with same codes. Mechanic says he must replace the TCM (Transmission Control Module) with Gear filter is this true? Please advise if Gear filter is must! This gear issue occurred after I change the Gear fluid!!

HI there

The code P0700 means there is a transmission malfunction which you know due to the shifting issue, plus the second code of P752.

This code is for issues with the 1-2 shift solenoid and no third gear. This issue can be the result of low or dirty transmission fluid, the shift solenoid or a problem with the transmission itself. Here is some more info.
