2008 dodge chrager code p0016

Question

My car engine light came on,the code reader said crank cam sensor.i replaced the crank sensor and the cam sensor.The check engine light came back on with the same code.someone said I have to take it to a dealer to reset and that will make the light off,is this true?Dont want to waste money I don't have at the delaer,please help

Since placing both cam and crankshaft sensors didn't solve the issue, it could be a wiring issue. Here is a list of all possible causes for this code.
