P1609 IMMOBILIZER COMMUNICATION

Hi i am getting this error on my hyundai Santa fe (P1609 - Immobiliser communication - Permanent), what does it mean and what can I do to resolve

P1609 Hyundai manufacture does not provide information of this, what you can do is roll down the driver window and do a battery reset, , this is where you disconnect the positive terminal and negative terminal and touch it together for about a minute other than that
