I have a Lincoln Continental Town Car I have two readings p1540 and a p0307 can you tell me what those mean please thank you

P0307 Misfire number 7 cylinder

P0307 is a misfire condition where that cylinder does not contribute, and this is usually the ignition coil in most all cases, as for the P1540 This is a code that the Lincoln does not  uses, it a camshaft sensor code, and it is more than likely set due to the misfire condition that you have
