How and where to measure ??

In the presence of fault code P0765, how to measure and what values should I verify to determine that it is the transmission module that is in trouble or if it is the TIPM that causes the fault ?? ...

The PCM test this, it is tested every ten seconds by sending a spike and monitoring its return, The PCM is volt meter in itself it looks for open circuit short circuit, grounded circuit and rationality., and the sensor You would need a scan tool that would give you the shift data, If this was the TIPM being at fault you would have a transmission relay output control code set or the control relay for the transmission.
