I have an 2009 chevy malibu in gettin code u0100 and p0700

Question

The check engine light came on code p0420 ( rpm's revs up and lose power I was told it was my catalyst converter ) so I took to the dealer.. and had it fix. After gettin my car out the shop my car problem was worse so i stop driving it, drove the car today and now I'm getting 2 codes U0100 and P0700..

U0100 mean there is no communication with the transmission, , this usually is a open circuit , what you can do is go in the engine fuse /relay box and just check to make sure the TCM  (transmission control module) fuse did not open, and check the TRANS fuse. make sure no opened,
