how do I know which side is bank 1 and bank 2 off the engine, 02 sensor?

Hi there,

Without knowing the year make and model I can't be real specific, but bank 1 is always the bank that cylinder #1 is on and bank 2 is the opposite bank. Any engine is like this. Some have 1,3,5,7 on one side and 2,4,6,8 on the other. Some just go 1,2,3,4 on bank one. As long as you know bank 1 is the side with cylinder #1 on it, then you know which bank is which
