05 Chevy Suburban was displaying P0053, P0135 and P0332 codes. I replaced the Bank 1 Sensor 1 sensor, expecting that to clear the first two codes. P0053 is gone, but P0135 came right back. I confirmed that both oxygen sensor fuses under the hood are good. Any thoughts on what might be still tripping it?
I have to admit one other embarrassing part of facts and circumstances. I had a faulty ground a while back that all of a sudden caused my battery to drain. Jumped it once to get it going and it fired right up. Thought I'd fixed the problem but came out the next morning late for work (of course) and battery was dead. In a rush and frustrated, I didn't quadruple check the jumper cables and connected them backwards on the Suburban. Won't do that again. Would turn over, but not start. Fried my crank position sensor. Got that replaced and it fired right up, but was throwing those three codes listed above.
Wondering if the PCM might be damaged and causing the P0135, and in need of replacement.
I know, I know...I'm a dummy. But I won't make that mistake again!
Thanks!
Jeff
