What part do I need to fix for code P1401

My check engine is on the code is P1401 what should I do to fix it

This code is for the egr temp sensor. It could be the sensor but what I see a lot on these is the tube from the egr valve being blocked with carbon. If you remove the tube you can usually clean it with a coat hanger and some carb cleaner. The temp sensor doesn't see any change in the temp when the tube is blocked and will store this code.
