2004 dodge ram 1500 hemi ck eng. light po700 tcm

My son just bought this truck. Was driving and shifting good until he slowed down and went to accelerate had no power and ck eng. Light came on. He got it home and since then has been operating ok but ck eng light is still on. Auto zone ck for code po700. Is there a common cause for this code. (HELP)
