08 altima transmission

Question

My 08 altima is throwing the transmission speed sensor an temperature sensor ....after driving for a hour it's like it wants to act up but the rpms get a little higher around 3000 but no hard shifting anybody could help would be a big help I don't want to buy a whole trans if a sensor is what is wrong any info would be great thanx

Hi there

This code, P0171 is for a lean fuel mixture on bank 1. In order to assist you with a transmission concern the transmission control module must be scanned to give a code to work with.

If it's throwing a transmission speed sensor code, this is called the revolution sensor. It will cause shifting concerns and is mounted to the outside of the transmission if it's not a CVT transmission. The temp sensor is inside the transmission under the pan.
