I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited transmission with shifting hard then the engine light came on car shifts fine now diagnostics code came up p0711 reading transmission fluid temperature sensor just wonder if it hurts to drive the car

In the run , yes it does, it hurts the front mount, You will experience just what you describe.
