I have the P0121 code on my 1998 Lexus ES400, what is the problem if when I press on the gas it won't move?

Hi there,

The code is for a faulty throttle position sensor. If the computer isn't seeing any signal from the TPS then the transmission won't know what gear to be in, and the engine speed may not increase.
