There is rough shifting and no engine light comes on, what do I do?

2000 Buick LeSabre is shifting rough. Code p1811 shows up on scan tool. What should I do first? I've changed transmission filter and fluid. No filings in pan. Should I try a transmission additive?

Yes that would work , this code you would not need a transmission overhaul. At this year vehicle this would be the best option
