What may cause the codes P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, and P0306 for a 1996 Toyota 4Runner SR5? I have been trying to narrow this down with the help of the local auto parts store that uses the OBDII scan tool to find the general area of trouble. thank you

HI there

Since you have misfire codes for each cylinder I would start by checking the timing belt and ignition timing. You should also check the fuel pressure. Since the whole engine is being affected it has to be something like this going on. Low fuel pressure or jumped timing can cause multiple cylinder misfires like this.
