Engine code is P0507 and it's showing twice in a row with what is either "pd" or deformed quotation marks after the second appearance: "P0507 pd"

Showing several system monitors incomplete, but I'm trying to go down the line and work out the kinks. Any help much appreciated.

HI there

PD means pending. This basically means the code is a 2 step logic code. The computer is going to have to see a problem twice in order to turn on the check engine light. This code means the idle speed is high. As for the monitors, they complete one by one as the car does the self tests. Here is some more info on the code.

Thank you very much.

The woman that had the car before me said that it would stall when she turned the AC on, and had a "mechanic" up the idle for her.

From what I've gathered all he did was adjust the throttle cable nut so that it sat around 800rpm at idle, up from the 400rpm she said it was set to before the adjustment.

I have noticed that even with it upped the car still wants to stall with the AC on.

I'm going to try to undo this guys "fix" and see if I get anywhere.
