Audi A4 2.0L TDI with engine code P0301, what does the code mean?

This code means there is a misfire on cylinder #1. This could be an internal issue or a faulty injector on this engine. It's also possible there is a wiring problem to the fuel injector. Low fuel pressure can also cause this, but normally it will cause a misfire on more then one cylinder.
